Constellations

nimdreamsWhen it comes to star Eidolons, there aren't actually as many as there are stars in the sky. Rather there are as many as there are constellations as each star Eidolon corresponds with a constellation. I am the constellation vulpecula. I have only started to awaken to the star side of myself for the last few years, but I knew early on I was a fox.
At first it didn't make sense to me, how I could be both a star and a fox. Why would mother Moon create a fox? That is when I found vulpecula and connected to it more and more. I found out my sister stars are constellations too, the two sisters I am closest to in fact are constellations that border vulpecula. This really clicked for me and made a lot of sense.
My identity as vulpecula looks very similar to how I saw myself as fox spirit. I am a white red fox, with yellow golden eyes. I can have a pair of white fox ears and white fox tail in my humanoid form and can shapeshift into a fox. I am more star than I am fox, and my humanoid form is my main one. In both humanoid and fox form I can have a pair of completely white feathered wings. Within the Dream I am a shapeshifter, as living within the Dream gives me certain dream abilities. Outside, in the wake world, I can only shift between humanoid and fox.
Being vulpecula is very special to me. I am glad I have learned about this and have being both a star and a fox make sense.
