Sourcehomes

nimdreamsSourcehomes is a word I decided to use for places that are not my origin homes, but fictional places I visited as my kintype that meant a lot to me. I am not literally fictionkin from these places, which is why I don't call them my source. I have my own personal canon for all my sourcehomes. A version of what happened with me there, which I will mostly keep private. I don't expect to be in any else's personal canon and the idea is uncomfortable to me.
Gaia - Final Fantasy IX
Gaia is the most special sourcehome to me. I even took the name for what I am, Eidolon, from this world's entities. The places all feel like home and the people are all my best friends.
Middle Earth - Lord of the Rings
This is a very old sourcehome of mine, one I visited many times and grew very comfortable with. In the past one of my main forms was elf, because of this sourcehome. My favorite place in Middle Earth is the Shire and my favorite inhabitants the Hobbits.
Azeroth - World of Warcraft
A place I love returning to, where I did a lot of exploration. Here too, I was often in the form of an elf when not in the form of a draenei. My favorite place in Azeroth is Feralas and my favorite inhabitants are the Night Elves and Draenei.
Wizarding World of Harry Potter
This world doesn't feel as strong anymore but used to be a very important sourcehome for me. I love to reminiscent of my times there. This one is a bit more personal so I'll keep it to myself.
I might discover more sourcehomes in the future, the Sandman universe is a possible one. There are other worlds I have visited, that I don't consider strong enough to be sourcehomes. The world of Charmed is an example of that, I have visited many times over, and another is Pokémon, relating more to the Pokémon there than the people.
