Not a Therian
Jan. 17th, 2023 12:00 amI don't really consider myself a therian, because my animalistic experiences come from my fae identity. Therian does describe those experiences though and it does apply to me; I could use the label if I wanted to even if I feel like my therian experience is a watered-down version of those of others.
I have shifts and identity of both a fox and hare. I don't really care for foxes that much, and don't find this part of me exciting or interesting, but I love hares. I feel proud to be a hare in whatever way. I feel however, as if my fox side diminishes my hare side. Like I am not a valid hare as I am also very much a fox. That having a predator identity as well, lessens my prey-ness. I wish I could just be a hare and nothing else sometimes.
